All paint should be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Baseball bats are tapered so wrapping tape around will not create an even ring around the bat. It helps to pencil in a guideline in order to achieve a straight tape line.
Firstly, make sure that your bat is sanded, smooth and clean before applying paint.
Tape off the areas in desired pattern to apply your first color. Let dry at least 20 minutes before re-taping to apply second color.
Repeat Step 2, wait an additional 20 minutes or less before re-taping to apply third color.
When all colors have dried, apply Krylon® COLORmaxx™ Acrylic Gloss Crystal Clear to provide additional protection for the bat and to create a nice glossy finish.
Wood and spray paint are a great combo. Go big and revive a piece of furniture. Go small and revamp a decorative box.
