Good color match
The color match of the paint was very close to OE. After reading other reviews about how thin the paint is, I will agree, but because of it's low viscosity, the paint flows very well, ensuring a good smooth finish with no dry spots. You just have to learn how to apply the product. Overall I am very pleased with the product and highly recommend.

Old industrial yellow changed to a bright yellow.
I'm freshening up an old Ford industrial tractor and bought spray cans of the old implement yellow. Like Cat yellow. I pulled a bunch of parts off cleaned them up and re sprayed them. Didn't notice the difference until I started reassembling everything. Wow, a major difference in the paint color with the same exact part number. Called Krylon and found two different lot codes on the cans. I used about twelve cans and less than half were the color I wanted, the nice Caterpillar yellow. The new formula is a bright yellow and looks terrible compared to the old formula. The only difference in the cans were the shape of the cap. The parts store I get these from just orders the part number but some came in with the new lot code and some with the old. Krylon says the bright yellow is probably the new mix and you can't get the old. Very disappointed and have to get another manufacturer's paint and repaint everything. Waste of time and money. I wouldn't recommend these paints especially if they change the colors and keep the same description.

Great finish
My brother uses Krylon farm and implement and it brought his equipment back to life. I would recommend using when in a hurry.

Great color match, horrible spray nozzle.
I bought some of the John Deere Green Farm and Implement paint. The spray nozzles are the worst I have ever used. They are quite honestly spraying like a squirt gun. Three of the 4 cans are exactly the same, I have no reason to think the 4th will be any different, so I'm not using it in case I can return it. The color match is right on, but I might have to puncture the cans and drain into a spray gun to put this stuff on.

Do not use on item you care about...
Well, I started thinking about the busy farmer with the John Deere tractor, who orders online. Yes, I read the instructions, and what you see in one photo is after "two coats", the other is "three coats" of paint. I was going to try to get my money back after one coat, but, to give a accurate review, I used the entire product, and my review continues into the next day.
And this can is;
1. Not the exact color; John Deere Yellow.
2. It's very drippy.
3. After 2 coats, it's still drippy looking.
4. Air pressure in the can is high = more air, less paint.
5. It is matte, and not gloss.
6. After an hour the paint begins to wrinkle (see close up photo). However, I do have to point out that where it's wrinkling, it isn't just metal. Where it is wrinkling, there is a bit of Krylon Paint, from last month. And no, the surface wasn't moist or wet, and it's the right the temperature for using the product, as directed.
Now, maybe I just got the one can out of 1000, that does not work. Five years ago, I remember the average Krylon paint was drippy, but, last month I bought a can of "25% more", and surprisingly it looked good, and I even used a bit of the paint on what I used this paint on. Which is why I bought the can of Krylon John Deere Yellow.
I did write in another review elsewhere, that; "Now I'm not saying that I won't buy the product ever again, because if I want something to look vintage, this would be the look I'd want, and Krylon may work. So, I would recommend it, but, not for its intended use.", but, not now. I won't buy Krylon paint for a vintage look, but, I may buy for a garbage look, because who knows if this paint is going to be chipping in a day.
The drippy look, dried drippy. While using your product, I sprayed on a metal pipe (see photo), and it came out looking lighter in color, and just look at the picture. I did not lay the pipe on the ground, as one does not take all metal off a John Deere tractor, before spraying it. This is a test that should have been done before manufacturing. Since you never saw an instructional video on how to make paint, might I suggest you tour other paint companies...You know what? No. I apologize. Of course you know what you are doing, you just don't care about your product, or customers.

High quality paint that lasts and matches equipment colors perfectly
Excellent paint! Sprays flawlessly, dries rapidly and weathers very well. The colors match the manufacturer's original paint perfectly. I buy Krylon Farm and Implement paint for about half of what it would costs me to buy the original equipment manufacturer's paint from an equipment dealer and it's just as good if not better. I've been using Krylon Farm and Implement paint on my equipment for over fifteen years and have never had a problem of any kind with it at all. I just came to their site to see if I could match up a color for one of my tractor attachments and I easily found it. I buy this paint at my local auto parts store saving me a trip to an equipment dealership and Krylon is less money. I highly recommend this paint to anyone looking for an exact color match paint that can take the weather and abuse that farm equipment is subject to.
