Love this varnish!
It's the best varnish I've used in a long time. Light, dries evenly and leaves a beautiful finish.

Dry Time
What is the dry time? It has been 2 weeks and still tacky to the touch!

Despair
Sprayed this on a bamboo and paper piece I've worked on intermittently for 2 years and have at least 200 hours in. Used as directed but it sprayed white and filmy. I thought it would dry clear but NO!
Trashed my piece. I can't try to take it off as paint thinner would destroy the paper. I could not be more unhappy.
!!!!! Absolute Junk !!!!!

Do not use!
I've tried shaking can for five minutes, evenly spraying, still comes out in large spits and drips all over my hands. It's a horrible product and effectively ruined two of my paintings.

Don't use on fine art!
I bought this to varnish my paintings for an upcoming exhibit. After shaking the can the spray came out in a mist for two seconds and then came out in globs all over my painting. I let it dry and could actually peel off some of the globs. I'm not sure what to do now, but will try the Golden satin spray varnish and hope it works.

spits instead of sprays
Shook well, did some test sprays, all fine, sprayed onto painting, and instead of spray, it spit, then spray, then spit. what a mess! Bought this from Art Supply Warehouse in Westminster CA last week.

Used on over 200 artworks successfully!
I've used this product successfully on over 200 artwork pieces ranging from acrylic, watercolor, charcoal and oil pastels and all have come out looking great. You need to be careful to apply a light even coat and apply the number layers you want to achieve your desired finish. Do not go heavy handed as it may drip. Otherwise, I've been very happy with the results.

Dried white and filmy
I was recommended this product by my local art supplier to protect a watercolor that was stretched like canvas. Unfortunately, what was previously vibrant and colorful is now hazy and dull. I am hoping to be able to remove it with mineral spirits and save my artwork.
