Holiday Staircase Decorations

Add a festive touch to your staircase for the holiday with Krylon® metallic and frosted finishes.

Gather painting supplies and various accent decorations.
In a well-ventilated area or outdoors, cover a flat surface with a drop cloth or tarp.
Before starting, read and follow the safety and application instructions on the can.
Group the containers and home décor accents into 4 groups. Be sure to mix the shapes and sizes of the objects in each group to create an eclectic look.
Spread each item out so it is at least 1 foot away from the other.
Spray several light coats of Krylon® Frosted Glass Finish on the first group of objects. Make sure to use light, even coats on all sides of the piece to create consistent finish.
Repeat this process with the second group of objects using Krylon® Premium Metallic in Gold Foil.
Spray the third group of objects with several coats of Krylon® Premium Metallic in Silver Foil
Finally, spray the fourth group of objects with Krylon® Shimmer Metallic. Allow all the objects to fully dry.
Arrange the glass and metallic holiday decorative accents on stair steps, adding greenery to create a festive touch.
