In a well-ventilated space, cover a flat surface with a drop cloth or tarp.
Before starting the project, read the Krylon labels for safety, application, and dry time instructions.
In an area separate from where you will spray paint, lightly sand the lanterns to remove any old chipped paint. Wipe away the sanding dust and debris with a clean cloth or rag and ensure the surface is clean, dull and dry before spray painting.
Place two of the lanterns on the drop cloth and spray paint them using Krylon Fusion All-In-One in in Matte Spanish Moss. When the Fusion All-In-One is dry to the touch, move the two lanterns from the drop cloth and allow them to dry completely for 2 hours before regular use.
Place the third lantern on the drop cloth and spray paint it using COLORmaxx in Satin Pink Taffeta. Allow 1 hour for the COLORmaxx to dry completely.
When all the spray paint is completely dry, tie rope around the handles and hang the lanterns at varying lengths in an outdoor space.
